Drywall dust is not a surface problem.
It settles into HVAC grilles, window tracks, outlet boxes, door jambs, and the edges of every horizontal surface. A wipe across the countertop can look finished while the building continues to shed dust for days. The answer is a deliberate sequence: capture loose material, work high to low, clean tracks and vents, then return to the floor after the airborne dust has settled.
We also look for the residue that arrives with installation. Construction adhesive on glass, stickers and labels on fixtures, overspray on frames, and compound around trim each need a different approach. The scope should call out the finish and the access, not just “clean everything.”
